September 26 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria’s electricity production fell by an annual 1.63% to 32,060 GWh in the January 1 - September 22 period of 2019, according to data from the country's Electricity System Operator (ESO).
Electricity exports decreased 17.13% to 4,418 GWh in the period under review, data from ESO's weekly bulletin showed.
Domestic power consumption added 1.41% to 27,642 GWh.
The volume of renewable energy in the transmission system edged up 0.68% year-on-year to 893 GWh, while the volume of renewable energy in the distribution system rose by 13.71% year-on-year to 1,404 GWh.
