September 17 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria’s electricity production fell by an annual 1.58% to 31,299 GWh in the January 1 - September 15 period of 2019, according to data from the country's Electricity System Operator (ESO).
Electricity exports decreased 16.92% to 4,311 GWh in the period under review, data from ESO's weekly bulletin showed.
Domestic power consumption added 1.41% to 26,987 GWh.
The volume of renewable energy in the transmission system edged up 0.22% year-on-year to 871 GWh, while the volume of renewable energy in the distribution system rose by 13.31% year-on-year to 1,365 GWh.
