July 23 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria’s electricity production edged up by an annual 0.79% to 24,841 GWh in the January 1 - July 21 period of 2019, according to data from the country's Electricity System Operator (ESO).
Electricity exports fell 5.49% to 3,154 GWh in the period under review, data from ESO's weekly bulletin showed.
Domestic power consumption added 1.77% to 21,687 GWh.
The volume of renewable energy in the transmission system fell 0.69% on the year to 687 GWh, while the volume of renewable energy in the distribution system rose by 9.67% year-on-year to 1,030 GWh.
