October 29 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria’s electricity production fell by an annual 2.78% to 35,776 GWh in the January 1 - October 27 period of 2019, according to data from the country's Electricity System Operator (ESO).
Electricity exports decreased 20.98% to 4,831 GWh in the period under review, data from ESO's weekly bulletin showed.
Domestic power consumption edged up 0.85% to 30,945 GWh.
The volume of renewable energy in the transmission system fell 3.47% year-on-year to 982 GWh, while the volume of renewable energy in the distribution system rose by 9.96% year-on-year to 1,553 GWh.
