SOFIA (Bulgaria), January 16 (SeeNews) – Bulgaria’s power output and consumption declined in the double digits in the period January 1 - 14, according to data of the country's Electricity System Operator (ESO).
Electricity production fell by an annual 17.68% to 1,811,277 MWh during the review period, while electricity consumption decreased by 16.17% year-on-year to 1,732,186 MWh, data published on the ESO website shows.
Power exports fell 40.98% on the year to 79,091 MWh in the period under review.
Renewable energy in the transmission system fell by 24.49% on the year to 39,481 MWh in the January 1 – January 14 period, while renewable energy in the distribution system dropped 23.46% to 44,689 MWh.
