February 6 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria’s electricity production rose by an annual 12.01% to 5,092 GWh in the January 1 - February 3 period, according to data from the country's Electricity System Operator (ESO).
Domestic power consumption increased 4.53% year-on-year to 4,569 GWh in the period under review, ESO said in its weekly bulletin.
Electricity exports tripled to 522 GWh in the review period from 174 GWh in the same period of last year.
The volume of renewable energy in the transmission system fell 3.23% on the year to 112 GWh, while the volume of renewable energy in the distribution system rose by 11.67% year-on-year to 149 GWh.
