January 15 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Yambol municipality said that it has launched a tender for a contract for construction of a composting installation for biodegradable waste, worth an estimated 2.6 million levs ($1.5 million/1.3 million euro).
The project will benefit from EU funding under Operational Programme Environment 2014-2020, the municipality said in a tender notice.
The installation, which will be built in the village of Hadzhidimitrovo, will have an annual capacity to handle 2,400 tonnes of waste.
The deadline for submitting offers is February 3.
Bids will be ranked based on price, with 40% weight, and technical criteria.
