November 25 (SeeNews) - Troleibusen transport-Vratsa, the public transport company owned by the Bulgarian municipality of Vratsa, said on Monday that it has launched a tender for the delivery of thirteen 12 meter long electric buses worth an estimated 12.7 million levs ($7.1 million/6.5 million euro), VAT excluded.
The project benefits from EU financing under operational programme Environment 2014-2020, the company said in a tender notice.
The tender also envisages the delivery of charging stations. The awarded candidate will be responsible for the registration and maintenance of the electric vehicles along with the training of staff.
Bids will be ranked based on price and quality criteria each having 50% weight in the overall score. The deadline for submitting offers is January 15, 2020.
