July 2 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian municipally-owned company Trolleybus Transport - Vratsa said it has launched a tender for supply of 13 electric buses and 9 trolleybuses worth a total of 21.82 million levs ($12.6 million/11.2 million euro), VAT excluded.
The estimated value of the contract for procurement of 13 electric buses and charging stations is 12.73 million levs, while the trolleybus supply contract is valued at 9.09 million levs, the public transport company servicing the city of Vratsa, in nortwestern Bulgaria, said in a tender notice on Monday.

The contracts will benefit from EU funding under Operational Programme Environment 2014-2020.
The new vehicles, which will replace part of the city's ageing public transport fleet, have to be delivered within 90 to 180 days.
Earlier this year, Trolleybus Transport - Vratsa launched a 3 million levs tender for supply of at least 14 new diesel buses.
