December 19 (SeeNews) - Troleibusen transport-Vratsa, the public transport company owned by the Bulgarian municipality of Vratsa, said on Thursday that it has relaunched a tender for the delivery of 13 electric buses, worth an estimated 12.7 million levs ($7.1 million/6.5 million euro), VAT excluded.
The project benefits from EU financing under operational programme Environment 2014-2020, the company said in a tender notice.
The contract also envisages the delivery of charging stations. The awarded candidate will be responsible for the registration and maintenance of the electric vehicles along with the training of staff.
Bids will be ranked based on price and quality criteria each having 50% weight in the overall score.
The deadline for submitting offers is January 27, 2020.
In July, Trolleybus Transport - Vratsa opened a procedure for awarding a 9.1 million levs contract for supply of 9 trolleybuses and a 12.7 million levs deal for supply of 13 electric buses. The procedure was cancelled in August, following complaints filed with the Commission for Protection of Competition.
The tender was relaunched in mid-November but subsequently cancelled again in December.
