November 18 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian civil engineering company VDH has filed a complaint against the ranking of offers in Bulgartransgaz's tender for repair of pigging station Stryama, competition regulator data showed on Tuesday.
The Commission for Protection of Competition launched proceedings regarding the complaint, which was filed on November 8, the regulator said on its website.
Last month, gas transmission system operator Bulgartransgaz said that it has ranked first an offer by local Active Building Inc. Active Building Inc's offer received 92.48 points out of a maximum score of 100, while VDH's bid was ranked second with 91.68 points.
Active Building Inc offered to repair the pigging station for 1.65 million levs ($934,000/844,000 euro), while VDH proposed a much lower price - 1.47 million levs. However, Active Building Inc received a maximum score in terms of time for completing repairs, which was enough for the company to win the tender.
