February 6 (SeeNews) - The water utility servicing the Bulgarian city of Varna said on Thursday that it has opened a tender for a 17.6 million levs ($9.9 million/9 million euro) contract for construction of a 6.1-km water supply pipeline, part of the pipeline which will connect the city to the nearby resort Zlatni Pyasatsi.
The contract also provides for the reconstruction of an existing 2.7-km section of the Varna-Zlatni Pyasatsi water supply pipeline, ViK Varna said in a tender notice.
The project benefits from EU funding under Operational Programme Environment 2014-2020.
The deadline for submitting offers is March 16.
Bids will be ranked based on price, with 40% weight, and quality criteria.
