March 26 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian water utility ViK Varna said on Thursday that it has launched a tender for construction of parts of the pipeline which will connect the city of Varna to the nearby resort Zlatni Pyasatsi, worth an estimated 17.6 million levs ($9.8 million/9 million euro).
The contract envisages the construction of 6.1 kilometres of new water supply pipelines and the reconstruction of 2.7 kilometres of existing ones, the water utility company said in a tender notice.
The project benefits from EU funding under Operational Programme Environment 2014-2020.
The deadline for submitting offers is May 20.
Bids will be ranked based on price, with 40% weight, and quality criteria.
