February 18 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Varna municipality said it has awarded contracts worth 1.9 million levs ($1.0 million/971,600 euro) to three local companies for the delivery of equipment intended for modernisation and reconstruction of Karantinata fishing port.
The awarded companies are Nikos Hranengineering, Panov and NVL Systems, the coastal municipality said in a statement, announcing the results of a public procurement tender.
Nikos Hranengineering signed on January 21 the contract for supply of refrigeration chambers to the fishing port.
Panov will supply benches and garbage bins, while NVL Systems will deliver low-voltage installations and computer equipment.
The project benefits from EU financing under the Maritime and Fisheries operational programme 2014-2020, the municipality said.
