March 31 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Varna municipality said on Wednesday that it has launched a tender for a 90 million levs ($54 million/46 million euro) waste collection deal.
The estimated annual volume of waste to be collected and transported includes 115,000 tonnes of household waste, 29,727 t. of mixed waste, and 218 t. of biodegradable waste, the municipality said in a tender notice.
The contractor should use vehicles adhering to the EURO-6 emissions standard to collect and transport the waste.
The deadline for submitting offers is April 26. Bids will be ranked based on price, with 45% weight, and technical criteria.
