October 5 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Varna municipality said that it awarded Energo-Pro Energy Services EAD with a framework deal for the delivery of electricity and the coordination of a standard balancing group worth a total of 30 million levs ($17.81 million/15.34 million euro).
The deal was signed on September 9, Varna municipal council said in a statement on Friday, announcing the results of a public procurement tender.
The awarded company will be responsible for electricity delivery, as well as inclusion of the assignor's entities into a standard balancing group coordinated by Energo-Pro Energy Services, forecasting the entities' electricity usage, and planning and contracting specific quantities of power, among other duties.
Energo-Pro Energy Services is a unit of Czech power utility Energo-Pro.
