August 22 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's state-owned National Railway Infrastructure Company (NRIC) said that it has signed a 7.6 million levs ($4.3 million/3.9 million euro) contract with local company United Property Group for supply of rails.
United Property Group came ahead of two other participants in the tender procedure, NRIC said in a notice filed with the country's public procurement agency earlier this month.
The rail supply tender was opened on February 7. Bids in the tender were ranked only based on price.
Sofia-based United Property Group's activities include real estate investment, design and construction of buildings as well as investment consulting services. The company is solely owned by Hristo Yankov and has a registered capital of 10,000 levs, according to data published in Bulgaria's commercial register.
