May 19 (SeeNews) - The board of Bulgarian drug producer Unipharm [BUL:59X] said on Friday that the buyout bid submitted by majority owner Sopharma [BUL:3JR] is a fair offer to the other company shareholders.
Earlier on Friday, Unipharm said in a bourse filing Sopharma has published an offer to buy the remaining 1.3 million Unipharm shares it does not already own for 4.35 levs per share, after receiving approval from the country’s financial regulator on Tuesday.

“In view of the company’s forecast economic development, we think that the offered price is fair,” Unipharm board said in a statement.
