May 25 (SeeNews) - The turnover indices in the services sector in Bulgaria posted an annual increase in the first quarter of 2022, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said on Wednesday.
Turnover from transportation, storage and postal services rose the most - by 26.8% year-on-year in the period between January and March, the NSI said in a statement, citing preliminary data.

Turnover from information and communication services went up 16.3% year-on-year in the review period, mainly due to a 33.7% jump in revenue from motion picture, video and TV programme production and music publishing activities. Information service
activities, meanwhile, posted a 26.7% growth in turnover.
Within the other business services segment, the largest annual growth rate compared to the first quarter of 2021 was observed in travel agency and tour operator activities - by 104.9%. By contrast, turnover in legal, accounting and management consultancy activities showed a decline of 0.9%.
