March 12 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's trade deficit increased to 401.5 million levs ($231.1 million/205.3 million euro) in January from 327.9 million levs in the same month of last year, the country’s statistical office NSI said on Thursday, quoting preliminary data.
Exports on a FOB basis rose by 3.7% year-on-year to 4.9 billion levs in January, while imports calculated on a CIF basis added 4.9% to 5.3 billion levs, NSI said in a statement.
Bulgaria ended 2019 with a trade deficit of 3.4 billion levs.
