June 1 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian coal-fired power plant Maritsa Iztok 2 has shut down boiler three of Unit 2 on May 31 for maintenance, the Independent Bulgarian Energy Exchange (IBEX) said.
The maintenance works have to be completed on June 2, IBEX said in a notice on its website.
The total power capacity that will be unavailable due to the maintenance works is 84 MW.
State-owned Maritsa Iztok 2 has eight units with a total installed capacity of 1,620 MW.
