March 17 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian thermal power plant (TPP) Maritsa East 2 said on Friday it launched a tender with an estimated value of 5.18 million levs ($2.82 million/2.65 million euro) related to the technical water supply of the plant.
Offers can be submitted by March 29, the TPP said in a notice published in the public procurement register.
The tender relates to the conduct, storage and removal of water in order to ensure the technical water supply of Maritsa East 2 via the hydrotechnical facilities of dam area Ovcharitsa, in southeastern Bulgaria.
The potential contract must be executed within two years after it enters into force.
TPP Maritsa East 2 has eight operating units with a total installed capacity of 1,620 MW. The power plant reported a net profit of 762.06 million levs ($404.3 million/389.6 million euro) for the first nine months of 2022 after a loss of 182.2 million levs in the same period of 2021, according to its latest financial report.
