August 27 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian thermal power plant (TPP) Maritsa 3 [BUL: 6TMA] said on Friday that it turned to a consolidated net loss of some 1.3 million levs ($781,300/664,400 euro) in the first half of 2021, compared with a net profit of 3.6 million levs in the like period of 2020.
The company's revenue plunged to some 3.7 million levs in the January-June period from 17.2 million levs in the first half of last year, TPP Maritsa 3 said in an interim financial statement.
At the same time, the expenses of the power plant operator amounted to about 5.2 million levs in the first six months of this year, sharply down from 13.6 million levs a year earlier.
The 120 MW TPP Maritsa 3 plant is located in the town of Dimitrovgrad, in southern Bulgaria.
