August 29 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian coal-fired thermal power plant (TPP) Maritza 3 said on Monday its consolidated net profit soared to 2.68 million levs ($1.5 million/1.4 million euro) in the first half from 102,000 levs in the same period last year.
Total consolidated revenues grew by an annual 28.9% to 7.86 million levs in January-June, while total costs fell 13.3% to 5.2 million levs, TPP Maritsa 3 said in a bourse filing.
TPP Maritsa 3, based in the town of Dimitrovgrad in southeastern Bulgaria, is 49%-owned by London-registered Topgroup.
