December 21 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's health ministry said that it has awarded local company Top Hospital Service a 7.2 million levs ($4.1 million/3.7 million euro) contract for the delivery of a medication for treatment of COVID-19.
The deal concerns the monoclonal antibody Regkirona (regdanvimab), authorised for use on November 12, whose use authorisation is owned by Celltrion Healthcare Hungary, the health ministry said in a notice last week.
The contract was signed on December 6, with Top Hospital Service submitting the only bid in the tender.
Top Hospital Service was founded in 2012 as a successor to Tokuda Hospital Service, engaging in bulk trade with medical consumables and disinfectants, as well as dealer and distributor business, according to the company's website.
