September 25 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Road Infrastructure Agency said on Friday that its tender for the construction of a 10.4-km section of Struma motorway has attracted offers from four tie-ups.
The lowest price offer - of 410.1 million levs ($244 million/209.7 million euro), was submitted by a tie-up between local Geostroy, Bias-M, and Ilia Burda, while the highest offer - priced at 530.2 million levs, was filed by a tie-up between GP Group and Logistika 21, the government agency said in a statement.
A tie-up between local Evropeiski Patishta, Groma Hold, Vodno Stroitelstvo - Blagoevgrad, Patproekt, and Ruteks, as well as Slovakia's Vahostav-SK and Czech-based Metroprojekt Praha, offered to build the motorway section for 420 million levs.
The last offer was submitted by local Glavbolgarstroy International and GBS - Infrastructurtno Stroitelstvo, as well as Portugal's EPOS - Empresa Portuguesa de Obras Subterraneas. Their bid is priced at 475.2 million levs.
The project includes the construction of the 5.5-km Kresna bypass road and four tunnels.
The Road Infrastructure Agency plans to finance the works with EU funds under operational programme Transport and Transport Infrastructure 2014-2020.
