January 30 (SeeNews) - Online betting operator Telematic Interactive Bulgaria [BSE:TIB] said on Monday that its standalone net profit climbed to 22.29 million levs ($12.41million/11.4 million euro) in 2022 from 20.35 million levs in 2021.
Revenue went up by 30%, reaching 98.59 million levs last year, the company said in a financial statement.
As much of 91.1% of operating revenue was generated from online casino operations. Sports betting formed 8.8% of the top-line figure, with the remaining 0.1% being delivered by other services.
Telematic Interactive also said that the number of its active clients jumped by 68.75% year-on-year to 83,227 in 2022.
According to the statement, the company’s operating expenses expanded to 72.68 million levs from 53.38 million levs as costs for external services rose to 45.3 million levs from 33.2 million levs.
As at 1455 CET on Monday, shares in Telematic Interactive traded 0.66% higher at 15.20 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
The company said earlier in January it acquired 99.9% of the share capital of Peruvian subsidiary TIB Consult SAC, with the aim of streamlining its online betting activities in the South American country.
