November 29 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian diversified group Synthetica [BUL:EHN] said on Thursday that its consolidated net profit, excluding interest attributable to minority shareholders in the group's subsidiaries, rose to 2.2 million levs ($1.3 million/1.1 million euro) in the first nine months of the year from 1.9 million levs in the comparable period of 2017.
The group's after tax profit, including minority interest, increased to 4.8 million levs in the January-September period of 2018, compared to 2.8 million levs in the like period of last year, Synthetica said in an interim financial statement.
Total operating revenue grew to 41.4 million levs in the review period from 38.3 million levs the year before.
Operating expenses edged up to 36.6 million levs from 35.5 million levs a year earlier, as expenses for materials rose to 14.6 million levs from 13.5 million levs previously.
Synthetica's units are active in hotel management, plastic products manufacturing and medical consumables production.
