July 10 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian cellulose producer Svilosa [BUL:3MZ] has signed a deal for the construction of a combined heat and power (CHP) plant with Chinese company Jinan Boiler Group, a video file shows.
The contract was signed following a meeting between Bulgarian prime minister Boyko Borissov and his Chinese counterpart Li Keqiang, according to the video posted on Borissov's official Facebook page.
The meeting of the two prime ministers took place before a summit in Sofia of leaders of China and countries of Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) in the so called '16+1' format.
No further details about the deal were disclosed in the video file.
As at 14:35 CET on Tuesday, Svilosa shares traded 5.15% higher at 4.52 levs ($2.71/2.31 euro).
Svilosa produces bleached kraft pulp and related items.
Jinan Boiler Group's main activity is manufacturing and distribution of pressure power boilers.
