SOFIA (Bulgaria), January 24 (SeeNews) – Bulgaria’s Svilengrad municipality plans to hold a tender with an indicative cost of 24 million levs ($16.3 million/12.3 million euro) for a water cycle project, a notice in the EU's procurement journal indicated on Thursday.
The project includes the construction of a wastewater treatment plant and upgrades of water supply and sewage mains, Tenders Electronic Daily (TED) said in a prior information notice.
The financing will be provided from the EU-funded operational programme Environment.
The Svilengrad municipality is located in southeastern Bulgaria.
