June 22 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian diversified group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:SPH] said on Wednesday that it expects its consolidated sales to go up by 37.15% year-on-year to some 181.4 million levs ($98 million/92.7 million euro) in the first half of 2022.
Stara Planina Hold's consolidated sales grew by 38.48% to 146.9 million levs in the first five months of 2022, including roughly 30 million levs in May, the company said in a bourse filing.
The holding group projects consolidated sales for June to come in at about 34.5 million levs.
The total preliminary gross profit of the company's four main subsidiaries amounted to some 17.6 million levs in the January-May period, the statement showed. Car battery manufacturer Elhim Iskra [BUL:ELHM] was the only subsidiary which posted a loss, of 818,000 levs.
Shares in Stara Planina Hold closed flat at 9.70 levs in its most recent trading session on Tuesday.
Stara Planina Hold's investment portfolio includes companies from the sectors of machine building, electrical engineering and perfumery and cosmetics.
