March 7 (SeeNews) - AES Bulgaria said on Tuesday that its majority-owned St. Nikola wind farm increased its electricity production by 33% on the year in February, to 46,472 MWh.
This is the largest output of the wind farm for the month of February since the wind farm's launch in 2010, AES Bulgaria, a unit of US-based energy conglomerate AES Corporation, said in an e-mailed statement.

The wind park also achieved an all-time high annual output in 2022, of 356,056 MWh, according to an earlier statement.
The wind farm built near Kavarna, on Bulgaria's northeastern Black Sea coast, has 52 turbines of 3 MW each. Its construction required an investment of 540 million levs ($294.7 million/276.1 million euro).
