April 12 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian express delivery company Speedy [BUL:SPDY] said on Tuesday that it opened a procedure for the collection of offers for the construction and rent of a logistics centre in the country's second largest city of Plovdiv.
The unfolded builtup area of the logistics centre, which will include warehouse and office area, will be 5,000 sq m, Speedy said in a statement.
The participants may be companies or tie-ups with proven experience in the construction of logistics and industrial areas as well as engaged in the development and long-term rental of industrial areas, the company also said.
Candidates can send their letters of intent until April 30. After the initial selection of participants, Speedy shall provide a detailed assignment for the project, it said.
Speedy's consolidated net profit increased to 32.1 million levs ($18.5 million/16.4 million euro) in 2021 from 26.8 million levs in 2020 as revenue grew to 339.4 million levs from 282.1 million levs.
