November 1 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian express delivery company Speedy [BUL:SPDY] said that its standalone net profit grew to 24.6 million levs ($14.6 million/12.6 million euro) in the first nine months of 2021 from 18.1 million levs in the same period of last year.
Speedy's revenue rose to 162 million levs in the first January-September period from 131.5 million levs in the comparable period of 2020, the company said in an interim financial statement, published last week.
Speedy's expenses increased to 135.8 million levs in the review period from 111.9 million levs a year earlier.
Sales revenue in Bulgaria rose by an annual 18.5% to 118.1 million levs, while sales revenue on foreign markets went up 28.3% to 29.4 million levs in the third quarter of 2021.
The number of completed deliveries exceeded 30 million in the third quarter which compares to about 26.2 million in the same quarter of last year, the company also said.
