November 30 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian power tools manufacturer Sparky Eltos [BUL:SL9] said that its consolidated net loss narrowed to 8.3 million levs ($4.8 million/4.2 million euro) in the first nine months of 2018 from 9.2 million levs in the like period of last year.
As at 9:50 CET on Friday, Sparky Eltos shares traded 15% higher at 0.069 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
Sparky Eltos managed to trim its operating expenses to 24.1 million levs in the first three quarters of the year from 29.1 million levs in the same period of 2017, as expenses for materials nearly halved, Sparky Eltos said in an interim financial statement on Thursday.
Sparky Eltos spent 7.9 million levs on materials in the review period, down from 14.0 million levs the year before.
The company's operating revenue fell to 15.9 million levs in the January-September period from 5.7 million levs a year earlier.
