October 7 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian state-owned St. Ivan Rilski hospital said on Monday that it has signed a 4.8 million levs ($2.7 million/2.5 million euro) contract with local drug trader Sopharma Trading [BUL:SO5] for the supply of a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system.
Sopharma Trading will use local companies Topsystem and GI Healthcare Bulgaria as subcontractors for an estimated 11% of the total works under the contract, the state-owned hospital said in a notice.
The contract was inked on September 27.
Sopharma Trading filed the sole bid in the public procurement procedure for awarding the contract.
Sopharma Trading is a unit of Bulgarian drug maker Sopharma.
As at 9:00 CET on Monday, Sopharma Trading shares traded 2.42% higher at 6.35 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
