March 1 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian pharmaceuticals trader Sopharma Trading [BUL:SFT] said on Wednesday that its pre-tax profit soared by 90% year-on-year to 4.7 million levs ($2.55 million/2.40 million euro) in January.
Sales revenue jumped by an annual 39% to 111.5 million levs in January, marking the company's highest standalone revenue in monthly terms to date, Sopharma Trading said in a stock exchange filing.
Sopharma Trading is a unit of Bulgarian pharmaceuticals producer Sopharma [BUL:SFA], which held a stake of 87.25% in the company at the end of last year.
As of 1020 CET on Wednesday, shares in Sopharma Trading traded 1.36% higher at 5.98 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
