June 30 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian pharmaceuticals trader Sopharma Trading [BUL:SFT] said on Thursday that its pre-tax profit grew by 16% year-on-year to 12.77 million levs ($6.8 million/6.5 million euro) in the first five months of 2022.
Sopharma Trading's sales revenue increased by 11% on the year in the same period, to roughly 427 million levs, the company said in a stock exchange filing.
In May alone, the company's pre-tax profit went up to 2.67 million levs from 2.15 million levs a year earlier, as sales rose 21% to 88 million levs.
Shares in Sopharma Trading closed without change at 5.06 levs on Wednesday, the latest Sofia bourse data shows.
