November 29 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian drug trader Sopharma Trading [BUL:SFT] said it has appointed Ventsislav Marinov new chief executive officer (CEO), replacing Orgnyan Donev.
Donev will continue to serve as chairman of Sopharma Trading's board of directors, the company said in a bourse filing late on Friday.
Marinov has been a member of the top management of Sopharma Trading since the establishment of the company. Over the years he has held various management positions in Sopharma Trading, including deputy executive director, executive director of wholesale and chief financial officer, according to the bourse filing.
Donev is the CEO and indirectly the biggest shareholder of Sopharma Trading's majority owner - drug maker Sopharma [BUL:SFA]. At the end of September, Sopharma held a 76.35% equity stake in Sopharma Trading, while Donev held directly a stake of under 5%.
On Friday, Sopharma Trading shares closed flat at 4.88 levs ($2.81/2.50 euro) on the Sofia bourse.
