June 6 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian pharmaceuticals producer Sopharma [BUL:SFA] said that its board of directors decided to increase the company’s capital by issuing up to 44.93 million new voting shares.
The new shares will be offered to the company's warrant holders, Sopharma said in a bourse filing on Monday.
They will have a par value of 1 lev ($0.55/0.51 euro) each and an issue price of 4.13 levs apiece.
Warrant holders will have 15 business days to subscribe for the new shares, starting September 1. If they do not exercise their rights now, they can do so in future capital increases until the warrants expire.
In early 2022, Sopharma issued a total of 44,925,943 warrants, each giving their owner the right to subscribe for one share at 4.13 levs in a future capital increase of the company within three years of issuance, according to an earlier statement by the Financial Supervision Commission.
Sopharma's capital is divided into some 134.8 million shares with a nominal value of 1 lev apiece.
Shares in the company closed at 6.18 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange on Monday, bourse data show.
