SOFIA (Bulgaria), December 27 (SeeNews) – Bulgarian drug maker Sopharma [BUL:3JR] said on Friday that it repurchased 800 own shares at a weighted average price per share of 3.45 levs ($1.96/1.76 euro) on December 20.
The shares represent 0.0006% of Sopharma's capital, the pharmaceuticals manufacturer said in a bourse filing.
Following the transaction, Sopharma holds 9,113,467 own shares, or 6.761% of its own capital.
Sopharma's five-year share repurchase programme, launched in February 2018, targets up to 10% of the drug maker's share capital.
As at 14:25 CET on Friday, Sopharma shares traded 0.30% higher at 3.37 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
