September 4 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian pharmaceuticals producer Sopharma [BUL:SFA] has acquired new shares in real estate investment trust Sopharma Properties [BUL:SFI], lifting its stake to 45.59% from 40.03%, the target company said on Monday.
Sopharma now owns a little over 10 million voting shares in the REIT, Sopharma Properties said in a bourse filing.

The buyer acquired 986,243 shares in the property trust on Friday, at prices ranging between 9.60 levs ($5.30/4.90 euro) and 9.75 levs, a separate company filing showed.
Shares in Sopharma Properties closed at 9.60 levs in its most recent trading session on Friday, for a market capitalisation of The company has seen the value of its stock increase by over 7% in the past 12 months, bourse data show.
In June, Sopharma Properties' shareholders approved the distribution of a gross dividend of 0.165 levs per share for 2022, or some 3.62 million levs out of last year's net profit of 10.27 million levs.
