SOFIA (Bulgaria), May 7 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian drug maker Sopharma [BUL:3JR] said on Tuesday that its sales revenue fell by an annual 3% in the January-April period of 2019, due to lower domestic sales.
Sopharma's sales on the local market fell 15% year-on-year in the first four months of 2019, while sales abroad added 5%, the company said in a bourse filing.
In April alone, the company's sales decreased 7%. Exports lost 11%, while domestic sales were unchanged compared to April 2018.
The company did not disclose information about the volume of its sales or amount of sales revenue.
As at 12:20 CET on Tuesday, Sopharma shares traded unchanged at 3.35 levs ($1.92/1.71 euro) on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
