December 16 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian drug maker Sopharma [BUL:3JR] said on Monday that it repurchased 46,320 own shares at a weighted average price per share of 3.4476 levs ($1.96/1.76 euro) on December 13.
The shares represent 0.0344% of Sopharma's capital, the pharmaceuticals manufacturer said in a bourse filing.
Following the transaction, Sopharma holds 9,078,640 own shares, or 6.70% of its own capital.
Sopharma's five-year share repurchase programme, launched in February 2018, targets up to 10% of the drug maker's share capital.
As at 13:50 CET on Monday, Sopharma shares traded 0.29% higher at 3.46 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
