December 13 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian drug maker Sopharma [BUL:3JR] said on Friday that it repurchased 41,320 own shares at a weighted average price per share of 3.4473 levs ($1.96/1.76 euro) on December 12.
The shares represent 0.0307% of Sopharma's capital, the pharmaceuticals manufacturer said in a bourse filing.
Following the transaction, Sopharma holds 9,032,320 own shares, or 6.70% of its own capital.
Sopharma's five-year share repurchase programme, launched in February 2018, targets up to 10% of the drug maker's share capital.
As at 14:10 CET on Friday, Sopharma shares traded at 3.45 levs, unchanged from their previous closing price on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
