SOFIA (Bulgaria), December 21 (SeeNews) – Bulgarian drug maker Sopharma [BUL:3JR] said on Thursday it acquired 10,934 of its own shares at an average weighted price of 4.27 levs ($2.59/2.18 euro) apiece on December 20.
The number of shares represents a 0.0081% stake in Sopharma, the drug maker said in a bourse filing.
Currently, Sopharma holds 9.03 million of its own shares representing a 6.7% stake in the company.
Sopharma plans to repurchase 10% of its own shares under a buyback programme approved in June 2010.
