February 24 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian real estate investment trust Sopharma Buildings REIT [BUL:SFB] said on Friday that it will seek shareholder approval to purchase a land plot in Sofia for 6.34 million levs ($3.44 million/3.24 million euro).
Sopharma Buildings plans to buy a 17,688 sq m plot from its shareholder, pharmaceuticals producer Sopharma [BUL:SFA], the company said in a bourse filing.

The proposal will be put to the vote at an extraordinary shareholder meeting of Sopharma Buildings on March 30.
As of the end of 2022, Sopharma owned 10.25% of Sopharma Buildings' equity capital.
Last week, Sopharma Buildings said it would begin issuing rights for its planned capital increase, in which it will offer 3,249,950 voting shares at 1.86 levs apiece.
Shares in Sopharma Buildings last traded at 2.63 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, bourse data show.
