November 29 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian drug maker Sopharma [BUL:3JR] said on Wednesday its consolidated net profit rose to 32.7 million levs ($19.8 million/16.7 million euro) in the first nine months of 2017, from 31.6 million levs in the like period of 2016.
Sopharma’s operating revenue grew to 733.5 million levs in January-September, from 662.3 million levs in the prior-year period, the company said in a bourse filing.
The company’s consolidated operating expenses increased to 692.7 million levs in the review period, compared to 622.8 million levs the year before.
As at end-September, Sopharma had 1,896 employees. The company has subsidiaries in Moldova, Russia, Serbia, Belarus, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.
