June 26 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian pawnshop chain operator Sofia Commerce-Pawn Brokerage [BUL:6SOB] said that its shareholders have approved the company's plans to cut its capital by 8.75% to 2.37 million levs ($1.4 million/1.2 million euro).
The company intends to cancel 227,685 own shares with a nominal value of 1 lev each, which it currently owns, Sofia Commerce-Pawn Brokerage said in a bourse filing on Tuesday.
The purpose of the capital decrease is to optimise the company's capital structure, Sofia Commerce-Pawn Brokerage said.
Sofia Commerce-Pawn Brokerage currently has a registered capital of 2.60 million levs, divided into 2.40 million ordinary shares and 201,154 preference shares.
Sofia Commerce-Pawn Brokerage ordinary shares last traded on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange at a price of 4.12 levs apiece, while preference shares last traded at 5.35 levs.
