November 19 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian pawnshop chain operator Sofia Commerce-Pawn Brokerage [BUL:6SOB] said on Tuesday that it is seeking the approval of its shareholders to distribute interim dividend to holders of common and preferred stock.
Sofia Commerce-Pawn Brokerage is planning to distribute a dividend of 0.30 levs ($0.17/0.15 euro) per preferred share and 0.20 levs per common share, the company said in a bourse filing.
If both proposals are endorsed, the pawnshop chain operator will distribute a total of 494,809 levs as dividend for the first half of the year.
The company's shareholders will vote on the proposals at a general meeting scheduled for December 20.
Sofia Commerce-Pawn Brokerage posted a non-consolidated net profit of 688,000 levs in the first half of 2019, down from 704,000 levs in the same period of 2018.
